Makayla Rodriguez

Makayla Rodriguez joined the City of Rollingwood in 2022 as the Assistant to the City Administrator and, as of 2024, serves as the Interim City Secretary. Born and raised in the Austin area, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Texas State University.

Makayla is passionate about local government and is dedicated to enhancing city operations and civic engagement in Rollingwood. She is actively involved in professional organizations that promote leadership and excellence in public service, including the Texas City Managers Association (TCMA), Women Leading Government (WLG), Urban Management Assistants of Central Texas (UMACT), and is a graduate of the Sequoia Class of the Texas Women’s Leadership Institute (TWLI).
