LOCATION


 

The City of Rollingwood Park is nestled in the heart of Rollingwood.  The playground is separated into two parts, lower and upper. The upper park is located along Rollingwood Drive while the lower park is located along Nixon Drive near City Hall. Designated parking for the Rollingwood Park is located at the corner of Gentry and Nixon Dr. 

  • Park hours are dawn to dusk daily.

 


PARK FACILITY RENTALS


 

The City of Rollingwood rents park facilities for both commercial and non-commercial usage. For more information on available facilities, please visit our Rollingwood Park Facility Usage page. 

 


LOWER PARK


 

The lower park includes two areas for playground equipment, swings, pavilion, and a community garden.

The Rollingwood Pavilion holds 5 picnic tables and has a capacity of approximately 20 people. 

  • Reservations for the pavilion can be made for for either a morning timeslot of 10am-1pm or an afternoon timeslot of 2pm-5pm. Groups for events may not exceed 20 people.   
  • Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance. For residents of Rollingwood, the event rental rate for the Pavilion is $100 per event and $250 refundable security deposit. For non-residents, the event rental rate for the Pavilion is $300 per event and $500 refundable security deposit.  For more information on reservations, visit the Pavilion Rentals page. 

The Rollingwood Community Education Garden is a communal garden, small in scale but big on ideas about connectivity and sustainability. The Community Garden was built because members of the community organized, planned, fund raised, and implemented the space.  For more information about the Community Garden, visit their website.

 


UPPER PARK


 

The upper park includes multiple ball fields, playground equipment, adult exercise equipment and the Doyle Moore Field House. There are 5 athletic fields located within the upper park, which are used for organized youth athletic activities.  The athletic fields are leased and managed by the Western Hills Little League and Western Hills Girls Softball league.

 


RESTROOMS


 

There are public restrooms located in the upper park, in the Doyle Moore Field House near the baseball fields and there are additional restrooms located inside of City Hall. Restrooms are open dawn to dusk daily. 

 


OTHER FACILITIES


 

The swimming pool located on Wallis and Rollingwood Dr. is a private club owned and operated by Western Hills Athletic Club.  For more information about the pool visit their website.
