City Administrator

The City of Rollingwood is a Type A General Law City where the City Council is the governing body of the City consisting of five elected Council members and a Mayor; with the framework of City Administrator form of government.

City Administrator

Ashley Wayman joined the City of Rollingwood as the City Secretary in 2019 and 2020 began serving as the Assistant City Administrator. In June 2022 Ashley was appointed the City Administrator. Before coming to Rollingwood, Ashley worked in municipal finance in the San Antonio area, serving as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Leon Valley. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas and a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. 

Ashley is a graduate of the Inaugural Class of the Texas Women's Leadership Institute and serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Texas Chapter of Women Leading Government. Ashley also serves as the Region 10 Trustee for the TX Health Benefits Pool and is actively involved in other local government organizations, including Texas City Management Association (TCMA), Urban Management Assistants of Central Texas (UMACT), Texas Municipal Clerks Association (TMCA), and the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas (GFOAT). Ashley is passionate about local government and is committed to bettering the community she serves and empowering others to do the same for their communities. In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking many of Austin’s outdoor parks and trails, and traveling.
