Reports of Water Pressure Fluctuations - Pressures Not Dangerously Low
Rollingwood Residents,
We are aware of low water pressure and water pressure fluctuation reports in certain areas of the City. There is one known broken pressure relief valve on Hatley and Almarion, which has been causing pressure fluctuations in some areas. We will be getting that valve replaced as soon as parts are available. Additionally, we have Fluid Meter Service and Crossroads in town today testing pressure relief valves on our water system, which is causing water pressure fluctuations in the city. Water pressure readings are being taken throughout this process and are not near “dangerously low" flow, they just may be lower than you are used to.
Here is a generalized list of residents who are likely to experience further fluctuations in water pressure:
Inwood Circle, 300 block of Inwood Road, 2400 block of Vance Lane, entirety of Vale Street, entirety of Bettis Blvd., 2400-2600 block of Hatley Drive, entirety of Farley Trail, 2400 block of Pickwick Lane, entirety of Riley Road, 2400 and 2500 block of Rollingwood Drive, 2500 block of Timberline Drive, and entirety of Timberline Ridge.
If you are concerned about your water pressure being too low, please contact our Public Works Operators at (737) 268-6359 or (512) 529-4301 and a member of our Public Works team will come test your water pressure level, time permitting.
Thank you for your patience as we perform maintenance on our water system. If you have any concerns, please contact us at 512-327-1838.
Sincerely,
City of Rollingwood
