Applying for a Building Permit
Information
The City of Rollingwood now uses My Government Online (MGO) for all permit application and issuance. Some 'paper applications' will still be required to be uploaded into your online application as those applications provide the "Owner Authorization" portion.
Please contact Development Services to request applications, and schedule inspections. You may email requests to developmentservices@rollingwoodtx.gov, or call for assistance.
Inspection Information
- All inspection requests must be submitted before 3:00 p.m. in order to be scheduled for the next business day.
- Email both departments to request inspections:
- Fire inspections must be submitted directly to the office of Michael Lacy at the Westlake Fire Department.
- Requests for preliminary meetings, or final inspections and/or certificates of occupancy may take up to 2 weeks, as schedules for officials permit.
- All active construction sites must have construction signs with the hours of construction posted. Signs are to be obtained at the time of issued permit. Construction hours are from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Construction is never allowed on federal holidays. Quiet interior construction is allowed on Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
