It's Here! New Rollingwood PD Patch

In April, the Rollingwood Police Department was officially fully staffed with essential personnel, which represented a significant milestone for our community. That’s why, over the summer, we introduced the community to members of our Police Department with a “Meet the Squad” campaign on Facebook.

Now, we’re excited to unveil the new Rollingwood Police Department patch! The patch is a unique and meaningful symbol for every PD, and we're so proud of the design created by our police officers.

A few of the elements that really stand out include the large tree, which provides shelter to the deer grazing below and is reminiscent of the beautiful tree canopies found in Rollingwood. It is the flora and fauna of the region that helps contribute to the quality of life in Rollingwood, an oasis in the middle of a growing metroplex. Two deer are also shown; they are indicative of the deer living in our city despite the proximity to a major metropolitan population center. The deer feel safe and secure in Rollingwood, as should our residents and visitors. All of these design elements are positioned in front of a representation of the Texas Flag, which symbolizes the community pride in our state and our unique place in this historic capital region.
