Update: February 20, 2021
Rollingwood Residents,
We are happy to report that many of the power outages in the community have been resolved. Unfortunately, we are not out of the woods yet, as there are still a handful of residents without power and we are working diligently to push Austin Energy to restore power.
We are anticipating increased reports of broken water lines in the coming days and have staff ready to assist residents with water shut-offs when necessary. Please help us by doing your part to inspect your property for leaks so that in the event that there is a leak, large scale water loss and damage can be prevented. Please also remember that all residents are also still under the Boil Water Notice issued by the City of Austin. In the meantime, please be thoughtful in your utility use, both water and electric, as the greater region continues to be somewhat unstable.
There are resources available at City Hall, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything. We have a supply of water bottles and are expecting to have more in the near future. Please call the police non-emergency line at 512-328-1900 for assistance.
Thank you and stay safe,
City of Rollingwood
