Update: Public Health Emergency Extension and Travis County Shelter-in-Place Order
The City Council met via video conference today and voted to approve the Ordinance to extend the Mayor’s Declaration of Public Health Emergency and Local Disaster for 30 days. In addition, yesterday, Travis County officials issued a Shelter-in-Place Order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The City of Rollingwood, as a municipality of Travis County, is required to adhere to the Order made by Travis County. This Order requires all nonessential businesses to have employees work from home, but businesses with essential functions – like grocery stores and medical services – are exempt, as are government functions and critical infrastructure. While all Rollingwood residents are now required to stay home unless absolutely necessary, you can still go outside for fresh air and exercise as long as you comply with social distancing requirements. The Ordinance and the Order can be found in the Supporting Documents Section below.
