Road Closures and Barricades

Dear Rollingwood Residents,

As you may already be aware, the past two evenings, the City of Rollingwood has been inundated with traffic due to the Trail of Lights event. This has caused conditions that may be unsafe to residents, including restricted access to your homes and limited access for emergency vehicles. In response, residential roads in Rollingwood will be closed to thru traffic from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the duration of the Trail of Lights event, except for residents. In addition, the City will employ one police officer manned barricade at Riley/Paige and Stratford. You will also encounter unmanned barricades at Stratford and Ashworth, Ridgewood and Hatley, and Riley and Hatley. Rollingwood residents will be allowed in and out and around the barricades, but event attendees will not. Please make adjustments to your commute, if necessary. We will continue to evaluate conditions and may make adjustments as circumstances dictate.
