Freezing Weather Forecast: January 7th-January 11th

Rollingwood Residents,

Rollingwood and surrounding areas are expecting several days of freezing or below freezing temperatures this week through Saturday, January 11th. To help prevent damage and ensure safety, please follow these important tips:

  1. Let Your Water Drip: If you’re concerned about pipes freezing, allow a slow drip from faucets, especially those located on exterior walls.
  2. Limit Non-Emergency Travel: To ensure your safety and avoid unnecessary accidents, in the event of ice on the roads, please avoid non-emergency travel until conditions improve.
  3. Protect Your Property: If you plan to be away from your home, proactively turn off your water at the customer hand valve to minimize potential damage.

The Public Works Department will be responding only to emergency situations. Please do your part to prevent issues before they arise. The On-Duty Police Officer will be available and can be reached at (512) 328-1900.
