EyeOnWater Customer Portal
Rollingwood Residents,
The new electronic meters are equipped with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), which allows the City to automatically and electronically read meters. These readings are also uploaded to a customer portal called EyeOnWater. The customer portal lets customers connect to their water utility accounts from a secured website and provides daily information to each customer to view daily water usage and even be alerted to possible leaks on their property.
To create your account, you will need your Rollingwood Water Account number. Please follow the full instructions HERE, or see the abbreviated one page version HERE.
Please watch the following video below for tips on using the EyeOnWater Portal and monitoring your water consumption:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about EyeOnWater
How do I set up my EyeOnWater Account?
- Follow this guide for setting up your account through a web browser or the EyeOnWater App.
What are the password requirements for EyeOnWater?
- Passwords must be a minimum of 12 characters long and contain one (1) number, one (1) special character, one (1) upper case character and one (1) lower case character.
Why can't I see usage from before my electronic meter was installed in EyeOnWater?
- EyeOnWater only provides usage data since the date that your electronic meter was installed (June or July). For information about previous usage data, you can login to the Municpal Online Payments portal HERE or call Rollingwood City Hall at (512) 327-1838 option 4.
Is there an EyeOnWater App?
- Yes! Instructions for setting up an EyeOnWater Account using the App can be found on the last page of this document.
Why can't I see or pay my bill in EyeOnWater (web version or App)?
- EyeOnWater does not have a feature that allows you to pay your bill. To pay your bill, you can login to Municipal Online Payments HERE or sign up for automatic bank drafting using this form. For more information on payment options, please visit the Rollingwood Utility Billing webpage HERE or call City Hall at (512) 327-1838 option 4.
Is there a different app for seeing my billing data?
- Yes! You can see your billing data in Municipal Online Payments HERE.
What should I set my alerts to?
- We recommend setting your leak alerts to a low threshold, no more that 1-5 gallons per hour. This will help you spot the most common sources of household leaks, including dripping faucets, leaking toilets, and broken sprinkler pipes. An alert will be sent when flow exceeds that threshold for 24 consecutive hours.
My old water meter had a leak detector dial on it, does the new one?
- Digital meters display any water going through the meter. If the meter is changing and all water faucets, etc. are turned off, a leak is present. However, with EyeOnWater, customers no longer need to open the meter box lid and view the meter open the water box at the curb. They can check for constant meter movement (or set up leak alerts) right in their EyeOnWater portal!
If you have any questions about EyeOnWater or need assistance, please contact the Utility Billing Manager, Veronica Hernandez, at (512) 327-1838.
